Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TradesView's iOS app, web app at www.tradesview.ai, and any folio links we issue on your behalf. "TradesView" means TradesView, Inc. By signing in or using the service you agree to these Terms.

Who can use it

TradesView is an invitation-only early access product for residential General Contractors. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your company (if you're using TradesView on behalf of one).

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us immediately at security@tradesview.ai if you suspect your account has been compromised.
• You're responsible for the people you invite into your projects — when you share a folio link with a homeowner, you're authorizing them to see the project contents you've attached.
• You can delete your account in-app at any time (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data you put into TradesView — jobs, scans, notes, photos, everything. You grant TradesView a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you and the homeowners you authorize.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload what you upload (e.g. permission to scan a home, permission to share a homeowner's address with us). Don't upload content that infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or is designed to harass or mislead.

Our obligations

We'll make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. During early access, we'll notify you of major changes or outages by email.

Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, break, or circumvent the security of the service.
• Use TradesView to violate someone else's privacy — including uploading someone's home scan without their consent.
• Use the service to do anything illegal, including unlawful discrimination in hiring or housing.
• Share your account credentials with others. Add them to your GC account if they need access.

Messaging (SMS & MMS)

TradesView includes text-messaging features. If you use them: you'll receive job-related SMS/MMS from contractors and the parties on their jobs; message & data rates may apply; frequency varies; reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. If you are a contractor, you represent that you have any consent required to message the numbers you enter, and you are responsible for your messages' content and compliance with applicable law (including the TCPA). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle messaging data.

Messaging program terms

Text messaging. TradesView operates an SMS appointment-messaging program on behalf of the contractors who use the service. By providing your mobile number to a contractor (including verbally during a call you place to the contractor's business line) and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive transactional SMS — appointment confirmations, a scheduling link, and replies about your requested service — sent by TradesView on the contractor's behalf. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP or contact the contractor for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Payment

During early access, the service is free. When we introduce paid tiers, we'll notify you at least 30 days before you'd be charged and give you the option to opt out.

Termination

You can stop using TradesView and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if continuing to provide the service would expose us to legal risk. Where possible we'll give you notice and a chance to cure.

Disclaimers

TradesView is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the 3D reconstructions, floor plans, or measurements produced from scans are accurate enough for permitting, construction, or legal purposes without independent verification.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradesView is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in that period.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes

If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll notify you in-app and by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
